I Love You More (Cantonese with Jyutping) • 我最愛嘅人就係你

This is a social emotional early learning board book for ages 0-5 written in colloquial Cantonese in traditional Chinese characters, Jyutping, and English.

I Love You More 我最愛嘅人就係你 is a personal letter about unconditional love. This poetic story illustrates the five languages of love in papercut art style, and shares all the wonderful things parents do to show love to their children. It is as expressive and impactful for both children and parents. 

A read-along in colloquial Cantonese by the author, Serena Li, is available. 

Guidelines for meaningful conversations at different ages:

Ages 1 and under: Encourage your child to wonder with the bright, contrasting colors. This book will bring so much emotions to a new parents. Enjoy these little moments, and quality bonding time with your child.

Ages 1-2: Read the simple phrases as they learn to talk. These positive phrases will become part of their vocabulary and will help guide them as they grow. Point out things on the pages to help increase their vocabulary.

Ages 3-5:  Instill confidence in your child as they repeat these positive phrases, and teach him/her that there are many different ways to love. Talk about your promises. Tell your child they are loved, just the way they are and they don’t need to earn it. Take your child down the memory lane and recall the experiences you both shared, as you journey through the book.
